According to Google ‘ s fourth quarter of 2025 financial report, its artificial smart chat robot Gemini has over 750 million active users a month. This data shows that Gemini was rapidly adopted among consumers and was fast becoming a prominent participant in the AI field.

Google reported during the last quarter that Gemini’s monthly active users were 650 million, indicating a significant growth in the short term. By contrast, Meta AI reports close to 500 million live monthly users. Yet, despite Gemini’s good momentum, it still lags behind its biggest rival ChatGPT – By the end of 2025, the latter had an estimated 810 million live users. The publication of the latest data follows the release of Gemini 3, which shows Google ‘ s most advanced model to date, and its response is said to be unprecedented in depth and detail. CEO Sandar Pichai stressed that the introduction of Gemini 3 under the AI model was a “positive driving force” for corporate growth and noted that sustained investment and iterative will sustain this momentum. Google recently launched a more economical subscription scheme, Google AI Plus, at a monthly cost of $7.99. The plan is expected to drive further growth by attracting budget-sensitive consumers, although its launch date is too close to having an impact on the current quarter data. The CEO of Google, Philip Schindler, said at the investors’ conference, “We focus on free levels and subscriptions and see strong growth”.

Gemini’s growth was particularly striking in the context of Alphabet’s overall financial performance. For the first time in the quarter, the company achieved an annual revenue breakthrough of $400 billion. Google attributed this achievement to the expansion of its AI sector, which is growing demand. Recently, Google launched the newest generation of the AI-Accelerator TPU (named Ironwood) to compete with Young Waida. In his release today, Pichai said: “The release of Gemini 3 is an important milestone and we have a strong momentum. Our first-party model (e.g. Gemini), which directly uses API through its clients, now processes more than 10 billion tokens per minute; Gemini applications have grown to more than 750 million live users. Searches have reached unprecedented levels of use, and AI continues to drive expansionary growth.”
